SO...weve got an article coming out in next months Uprgaded Living, about the release of I Play in Chico: A Rockumentary at the Pageant in March...pictures and everything, featuring astute commentary from my main man, Jeff Fox, as well. In the article Im labeled a Director. How cool is that? :) ...AND...Electric Canyon Convergence is starting to gear up for the release of our third album in two years, Welcome to the Small-time, on Feb 20th at The Womens Club, with Sofa King and one more band TBA.... ...AND...weve got almost 60 acts signed up for the 30-day Guinness attempt in April, some bands coming in from as far away as San Jose to participate. (...weve got a growing list of dedicated volunteers as well!) (Wha? I thought this was a Chico thing?...well, sign up then! Were taking acts on a first-come first-serve basis, so dont get left out!) ...AND...this Sunday, Im supposed to be meeting up with the Chico Enterprise-Record to film two short acoustic music videos for their YouTube series, Sessions...all solo and junk. :) ...AND...aside from all of that, Ive been bustin my hump building an 8 foot wood fence in lava-cap all week...with hundreds more feet of chainlink in my near future as well... BUSY BUSY. :) Im straddling both of my worlds right now...with the long-term goal of jumping feet first into my creative career. (you have been warned!) Im GREATLY appreciative to everyone who has taken the time to show support over the past few months(and years) for each of my crazy ideas. ...and Ive got a big thank you brewing for all of you as well. ;) ...thanks to all-yall, Ive got a good feeling everythings going to turn out just dandy. ;) Much love and constant gratitude, Your boy, Jules
