SOOOOO another rant about my car... after doing some research ON MY OWN, and relaying the info to the body shop manager... the color code for my car is actually copyrighted through Ford, not just the color itself, but the code as well. (Which come to find out, Ford & Mercedes are the only 2 car manufacturers who have copyrights on both the paint color & paint codes for specific colors).. So when/if someone enters my paint color code (which is located on the inside of my door) into a computer to be able to create/mix the paint, it will not come out correctly. The code for my gotta have it green Mustang pulls up in a data base and is actually created as green envy pearl, which is the Dodge Challengers color- similar, however; it is definitely a noticeable difference. Biggest. Disgrace. Ever. -_- Also, come to find out my car was painted in a tri-stage process when it should have been a 4-stage process. ALSO... the people at the body shop are not qualified to paint the 4-stage color (including the manager) so they are bringing someone in to be able to paint it. ON A BETTER NOTE: I just made my car payment and it is FINALLY halfway paid off :)
