SOUTHERN RAILWAY OBSERVED VIGILANCE AWARENESS WEEK 2013 Southern Railway observed Vigilance Awareness week 2013 from 28.10.2013 to 02.11.2013. The Awareness Week commenced with the Vigilance Pledge administered by Shri Rakesh Misra, General Manager, Southern Railway on 28.10.2013. The inaugural function was held at Southern Railway Headquarters Office on 28.10.2013. Shri T.S Krishnamurthy, Former Chief Election Commssioner of India was the Distinguished Chief Guest of the inaugural function.He emphasized the importance of transparency in governance and advised the Public Authorities to take decision without fear or favour.He also released the Vigilance Bulletin 2013 during the function. All the divisions of Southern Railway have also observed Vigilance Awareness Week with eminent personalities as Chief Guest and organized Seminars, Essay Competitions, Workshop, Debates, etc., to promote the Vigilance Awareness among the Staff and General public.
