SOVEREIGNTY LOST IS NEVER RECOVERED: WHAT THE U.N. SMALL ARMS TREATY MEANS FOR YOU The amount of misinformation about the United Nations Small Arms Treaty circulating the U.S. media is immeasurable. The fact that so many politicians and special interest groups (not to mention activists and PACs) have put their proverbial two cents in can only mean more and more obfuscation. Yet, the reality hovers above all the media fog and those in charge continue to ignore it. In fact, what is at stake is as important as our very existence and as fragile as the finest crystal. Perhaps not since the War of 1812 has the issue of American sovereignty been more critical and more at peril from outside forces. Action by the United Nations governing body could, in essence, eradicate our power as a free nation and, as a result, end our liberty to be free-thinking, sovereign individuals. Certainly there will be those who will say this is all hyperbole. Yet, consider for a minute the implications of a global treaty that is nothing more than a collectivist wolf disguised as a peaceful lamb.
