SPEED WITHOUT COMPROMISING SAFETY General director of the SEZ “Alabuga” Timur Shagivaleev together with the managing company experts on exploitation and construction inspected the construction areas of the following plants as a part of their planned inspection work: Trakya Glass Rus, Kastamonu Integrated Wood Industry, Tatplastic, Saria Bio-Industries Volga, Hygiene Technologies, Automotive Glass Alliance Rus, Alabuga-Fiberglass, Armstrong, RMA Rus, Interskol, Coskunoz. Some of these plants will start production by the end of the current year, the others have recently started construction and now are conducting their site works. “Trakya Glass Rus” plant plans to finish the painting of the already built pipe at the end of July. The production launch is expected in 2013. Active construction works are also carried out at the construction site of Turkish Hayat group plants. In front of “Kastamonu” woodworking plant there is an office block case and also an area for the core element of the expected plant – gas turbine unit. The contractors of Hayat Kimya plant, which will manufacture sanitary-and-hygienic paper products, are preparing to install a solid 65-tons equipment at the end of September. The executive director of Saria Bio-Industries Volga Valery Spiryagin informed that currently there are commissioning works being conducted on the future plant place. By the beginning of September the plant plans to reach its full production capacity i.e. processing of approximately 500 tons of meat-bone flour and animal fat per day. Site works, particularly works on soil consolidation are being conducted on the construction sites of “Tatplastic” and “Hygiene Technologies” plants, these companies not long ago have obtained a resident status of the SEZ “Alabuga“. Interior works at “Automotive Glass Alliance Rus” and “Alabuga-Fiberglass” plants are almost done. Currently the company carries out external territory arrangements and equipment installation. A huge amount of work has been done by the crew of “Armstrong” plant. Starting from April, 3rd when the construction was launched, a pile field appeared on the site, furthermore first steps for the construction of office and maintenance buildings and of the central entrance were made. “RMA-Rus” and “Coskunoz” plants’ contractors are conducting foundation laying and hardware mounting. The construction of “Interskol” is according to the schedule. The resident is finishing the construction of its office building and household building, located right up to the production complex. Commissioning works are planned to be conducted in the IVth quarter of this year. One should note a high quality of construction works at residents’ plants. As explained by deputy CEO on construction Sergey Kutyev during the planned inspection: “safety is number one priority over the speed of work”. The managing company SEZ “Alabuga” is also carrying out technical supervision of construction works for SEZ “Alabuga” residents.
