STEPHENS CREEK CROSSING FIVE DAYS ONLY Tuesday, July 9 – Saturday, July 13, 2013 Home Forward is excited to announce that its waiting lists for Stephens Creek Crossing 1, 2, 3, and 4 bedroom subsidized apartments will be open from July 9 through July 13, 2013. Stephens Creek Crossing is a new apartment community currently being developed in Southwest Portland near Capital Highway and SW 26th. It will have 109 apartments with income-based rents, and they will be ready for move-in in January 2014. All applications must be completed and submitted online by 11:59 pm on Saturday, July 13. Waiting List Preferences Preference will be given for households in which the head of household, co-head, or spouse is working at least 30 hours a month or is attending school or a job training program and for households that agree to participate in the GOALS program. Applicants will be placed in order on the list by the highest level preference they qualify for, and then by a random lottery number. What is GOALS? The GOALS (Greater Opportunities to Advance, Learn, and Succeed) program provides residents with ways to set and reach their goal of becoming economically self-sufficient through five years of dynamic supportive services. GOALS can help with job training and referrals, getting a better job or promotion, child care referrals, or even owning a home.
