STOP MALICIOUS RUMOURS ABOUT ST PAULS COLLEGE, MBALE WE TEACH WE DO NOT CHEAT Toxic rumours have been revolving around that S.4 students of St. Pauls College, Mbale were nabbed like goats with grass in the mouth cheating 2014 UNEB. That at first the invigilator found out the vice during Geography exams and cautioned them. And later the history teacher was apprehended in the process of drilling them at night. That the candidates were disqualified and centre number withdrawn. The origin of all these rumours is notion that people cannot succeed without cheating! The secret for Mbale Colleges success is hard work and discipline by both teachers and students. We finish the syllabus early enough and embark on revision and discussion seminars. That was what I found at St. Marys College Kisubi 1985-1987. My students of Computer Studies and Subsidiary ICT are shining wherever they go. Lizards beget lizards, rats beget rats but Elephants beget elephants and Crocodiles beget crocodiles. After all is it hard to know that a centre has cheated? We revoke those malicious baseless rumours in Jesus name and pray for the highest level of success for both the UCE and UACE candidates. I urge all schools in eastern region to know that many teachers from the east have migrated to the central because of the stinginess of the region. We must change that mentality in order have impact in our country. When will the president come from the east?
