SUPER last minute here...I know what youre thinking! Yes, its a common M.O. for me...Ill be working on that particular skill set in my new job, I imagine! Okay, so early this morning I received a private message from a local gal asking me to participate in an upcoming event. I said YES without further details. I confirmed it all about an hour ago and it is THIS FRIDAY! Its a Susan G. Komen event raising funds for the cause and research. They plan on having a guest speaker who is a breast cancer survivor of over 17 years, a bingo-type game of horse racing, a swanky sounding auction and more. They have asked me to be one of their guests of honor! (trying not to cry again!) SO! I slammed out a bunch of invites to people who I thought would be interested in going.
