SUPPLY CHAIN DIRECTOR- PHARMACEUTICAL Job Description: Logistics and Planning Responsibilities: Manage all strategic and tactical planning of manufacturing and distribution for a specific set of products. Acting as a champion of finished goods inventories and working to achieve both customer satisfaction and other Fine business objectives. Meanwhile, ensuring the uninterrupted supply of materials, spare parts and services at optimum cost. Serving as the single point of contact for resolving supply chain issues for the products in the business unit, whilst, working with many functional areas within Fine (including Customer Service, Sales, Marketing, Production and Finance) to resolve issues that may occur. Manage and enable the planning team to execute the activities within the different SC Planning processes. Align the various SC plans (demand plan, inventory plan, production and supply plan) with the business plan and budget. Optimizing decisions by mobilizing the commercial team to improve reliability of demand plans and aligning with the plants to increase flexibility of the supply chain. Ensure that the demand plans are translated into inventory and capacity plans for production resources on aggregate and detailed levels. Develop the vision, leadership and strategic direction for the distribution aiming at the optimization of the full Supply Chain, from materials supplier to distribution to the first customer. Contribute to and deliver international strategy and business plan, live the values and lead the team to achieve and demonstrate flexibility and openness to change. Play an active role in driving customer service with an emphasis on service improvement and process. Monitor performance, ensure SLAs and KPIs are met, and drive improvement. Support and participate in problem and knowledge management processes – create and maintain knowledge articles. Procurement Responsibilities: Ensuring all contracts go through the appropriate channels (legal, business process owner, etc...) within the organization and ensure that the contract complies with the relevant legal requirements locally and internationally, where appropriate Establish selection criteria for suppliers that can be applied to any supplier selection process and that show that the overall requirements of the supply chain have been taken into account. Assess the capacity and capability of suppliers to ensure that they can effectively work as part of the supply chain, including an assessment of their strategic fit with the organization. Establish measures and Key Performance Indicators for suppliers to achieve against, monitoring their performance at frequent and agreed intervals. Other Requirements: Supply Chain Director (Pharmaceutical field). Experience from 10- 15. Experience in Pharmaceutical field. Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, Veterinary or Science is a Plus.
