You can RESERVE HER TONIGHT, if you can pick her up within 48 hrs. A volunteer writes: Does Fauna needs the kiss of a prince charming to become Miss Congeniality? She is a very timid little girl who is almost afraid of her own shadow. She was wary when I showed up at her door but got leashed uneventfully. Fauna is pretty and petite and much too thin in her well groomed cow print coat. She was uncomfortable for a big part of our time together. She was compliant, though, coming when I called her and sitting on command and for treats. Fauna was trying very hard to come out of her shell, sticking her little tongue out in sign of peace and even putting a smile on her face. I was happy to see her coming nicely and willingly to staff and other dogs who came to salute her. She seemed to like my caresses. I know there is hope for Fauna....She needs a bit more time but mostly to be in your home, reassured by your love and care. Fauna is at the Manhattan Care Center, waiting for you. If you cant adopt at the shelter, to foster or adopt Fauna please fill out applications with at least 3 New Hope rescues to assist you.
