SWUSY REB candidates: good luck on your elections this weekend. I know how nerve-wracking it was 2 years ago running for board but it is such an important experience. Some word of wisdom (I hope) from a former SWUSY REB candidate: 1. Youre allowed to be nervous. 2. If youre freaking out, please feel free to reach out to me; I love giving pep talks. 3. Remember why youre running and know that whatever the outcome, you are an integral part of SWUSY and its leadership. 4. I believe everything happens for a reason and whatever is the outcome, it will provide you with more opportunities than another outcome. 5. If things dont go the way you wanted, please: a. dont get discouraged b. stay involved c. keep the goals and dreams you envision for this term. you can still make them happen without being on REB!
