Sacha Baron Cohen Pulls the Ultimate Prank at the BAFTA Brittania Awards—WATCH! Its tough to top a good Sacha Baron Cohen prank. Such was the case when the Bruno star proved yet again hes the ultimate prankster, when he tricked just about everyone at the BAFTA LA Jaguar Brittania Awards Saturday evening in Los Angeles. And it all went down when Cohen headed on stage to accept the Charlie Chaplin Brittania Award for Excellence in Comedy. After Judd Apatow introduced a clip package of the actors films, Salma Hayek walked out with an elderly woman in a wheelchair who was holding a cane. The woman was supposedly Grace Coddington, the last living actor who had appeared in one of Chaplins films, City of Lights, in 1931. When the funnyman hit the stage, Cohen walked over to the former actress, took her cane and started dancing around on stage, imitating Chaplin. Then, tragedy struck. Cohen broke the cane and fell into the woman, causing her to fall off the stage head first into the audience and on the floor. Yikes! At first the audience was shocked, gasping at what they just saw. Then, they realized they were just the latest victims of a good old-fashioned Sacha Baron Cohen joke. Grace Collington is the oldest, sorry, was the oldest, Cohen said after the audience started laughing. I dedicate my award to her. Its obviously a tragedy, but on the bright side what a great way to go. Shell probably make the Oscars In Memoriam section…Anyway tonight is not about her, its about me.
