Sad day at the Brink house. Thus morning I had to take our dog Jake to be put down (it was bad, he reacted to the anasthesia). I have told his story here before about his being a rescue dog with an injury since puppyhood. It was getting to the point where if we thought that his injuries were becoming too much and that wed rather him go now than drag it on when hed only get worse. This morning he couldnt even walk on his own accord. The kids dont know yet, and they will be heartbroken. Keep them/us in your thoughts and prayers as we move through this transition.
