Salam folks A reminder of Week 3 of Life of Muhammed in Makkah series will continue this Saturday after isha 6.30 inshaAllah. This session will focus on The Dawah - Call to Tawhid and will be delivered by Ustadh Abid Khan from Cheadle Masjid. Ustadh Abids profile is below: Ustadh Abid Khan is a graduate in Law from Manchester Metropolitan University. Upon completion of his degree he decided to pursue a career in teaching, opting to complete a Post-Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE). Having taught Law for a few years he decided to take his Islamic Studies further by travelling to Egypt where he studied Arabic Language, Tajweed, Fiqh and other Islamic Sciences. Ustadh Abid is a regular khateeb and speaker at many of the Masaajid in Manchester. He has been involved in teaching Islam for a number of years and continues to do so whilst visiting the UK. Some of his teachers include Sheikh Awadallah Youssef Al-Azhari, Sheikh Salim Al-Khateeb, Sheikh Ali Abdul Tawwab and Sheikh Kehlan Al-Jubury. He currently resides in Cairo where he is pursuing a BA in Islamic and Arabic Studies from the prestigious Al-Azhar University.
