Sally Jean Sharplin Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at County Line Missionary Baptist Church in Ellisville for Sally Jean Sharplin, 80, of Seminary, who died July 31, 2013 at University Medical Center in Jackson. Visitation will be from 5:30-9 p.m. Thursday at Jones & Son Funeral Home in Moselle, and Friday at 1:30- 2:30 p.m. at County Line Missionary Baptist Church. Officiating at the service, which starts at 2:30 p.m., will be Brother Darren Webb and Brother Joe Lott. Burial will follow in the County Line Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Sharplin was a member of the County Line Missionary Baptist Church and a babysitter. She was preceded in death by her parents, Grover Tom Scruggs and Reitha Walters Scruggs; sisters Mary Alene Ellzey and Eloise Hinton; brothers W. J. Scruggs and Jarvis Scruggs. Survivors include her husband, James Sharplin of Seminary; son Michael (Sheila) Sharplin of Morton; daughter Janet (Keith) Stormant of White Springs, Fla.; grandchildren Jennifer Williams, K. J. Stormant, Andy Stormant and Jeffrey Stormant; great-grandchildren Christian Dedmon, Shelly Stormant and Bradley Denton. Jones & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
