Sam Harris admits hes not a Policy guy and can acknowledge incompetence during the Iraq war. How can he not possibly entertain the idea that our Foreign Policy can create resentment towards the West yet he defends that extremism stems from within itself? How could he not include in the historical dialogue the 1st half of 20th c. British Colonization of the Arab States and 2nd half of the 20th c.Occupation of the Middle East? How can he ignore 100 years of border creation made by the West which started as a Racist policy to divide the different ethnic groups of the region. Yes Iraq was British Made. This in turn built Nationalistic divides between various ethnic groups. How can Harris stay within that bubble of the conversation(extremism is bad) in which everybody already agrees. And when one mentions a hint of Military Intervention he just repeats his position (extremism is bad) but has no answer for the consequence of our actions. How can he stand behind a secular worldly reason and rational without the including the Global and Historical impact of our foreign Policy?
