Samsung announces new super fast Wi-Fi technology It seems that Samsung may become the new king of Wi-Fi technology with its latest breakthrough. The new technology will allow people to download a full HD movie in less than a minute, download a 1GB file in less than three seconds, or back up a computer in under a minute without any chords or cables. Very little information has been given about how the new technology works, but the company will be releasing these new Wi-Fi products in 2015. Currently the technology is able to share content between devices in the same room but as research continues It will branch past five meters. Another thing to consider is that this new Wi-Fi does not mean faster Internet because your Internet provider determines that. This technology does offer incredible connections between devices in your internal network. Samsung is saying the new technology is able to solve the issue of several devices sending too many signals. When the devices send all these signals at once it causes interference and hampers the speed. “Samsung’s new technology removes the gap between theoretical and actual speeds, and exhibits actual speed that is more than 10 times faster than that of 2.4 Ghz and 5GHz Wi-Fi technologies,” the company said in a statement.
