San Bernardino teen shot to death in Pomona By Wes Woods, Inland Valley Daily Bulletin POSTED: 09/01/13, 12:16 PM PDT | A San Bernardino teen was killed in a shooting Saturday in Pomona. The 17-year-old was killed at 4:30 p.m. in the 1200 block of Cromwell Street, according to a Pomona Police Department news release. Police initially believed the incident to be gang related, according to the release. Pomona police Lt. Ron McDonald said he could not identify the teen and that police were looking to identify his family. McDonald said he did not believe the shooting was connected to other recent Pomona shootings. Pomona police received a call of shots fired in the Cromwell area and found the teen suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, according to the release. Los Angeles County Fire Department officials responded to treat the teen but he died at the scene, according to the release. Police said they are looking for witnesses.
