San Francisco - Denver by bike: The first 8 days of our 17 days trip took us through the states of California and Nevada. Most of it on Highway 50, the loneliest road in America, and through the desert of Nevada. The itinerary took us from San Fran to Dixon, Placerville, Carson City, Fallon, Austin, Eureka, Ely and Baker. We had our monster stage already on the 3rd day: 196 km., 4,000 altitude meters and temperatures rising up to 41 degrees Celsius. We encountered fascinating nature, closed new friendships, and learned more about the (rough) history of the Wild West. Let the pictures do the talking!
