San Juan is tomorrow, so this evening we will see beaches across the municipality, and all around Mallorca full of people dressed in white, candles, music, picnics, and the obligatory cleansing dip in the sea at midnight. Even if you only put your feet in it has to be done. The eve of San Juan which is tonight, is a traditional time of cleansing and renewal, hence the dip in the sea. The part that I love is to see people at dusk enjoying their al fresco picnics by candlelight, community spirit and it means SUMMER IS HERE ! The white clothing is for good and pure vibrations !
