Sanatan dharma in my opinion is not the Hinduism in totality.It is a practical truth, may appear bitter to some fundamentalist Hindus that all that we follow and all that we preach others to follow as part of rituals and traditions of Himduism are all practiceable for all Hindus.The Sanatan dharm is, in fact, specifified and simplified code of moral conduct embeaded with spirituality, derived from traditional concept of Hinduism which are simple and practical and which can be followed by a common man without disturbing his life and livelihood.I think that people belonging to different religion too can follow the Sanatan dharm despite following their ancestral religion.
