Sandy Visual Art Show - Clay Arts Award! Capital Ceramics is proud to announce that we will be sponsoring a $150 cash price to the best pottery or ceramic (non-glass) art submission at the Sandy Visual Art Show. As I understand, pottery entries have decrease as of late, so we are hoping that by giving the largest award at the show we can encourage you to bring your entry. Opening Gala Nov. 10, 7:00 pm Sandy Senior Center, 9310 South 1300 East The Sandy Visual Art Show is a premier, adjudicated art show offering participants the opportunity to publicly exhibit and sell their work as well as vie for cash prizes. The Sandy Visual Art Show will highlight watercolor, oil, acrylic, clay art (pottery or sculpture) and photography. Any Utah artist aged 18 and older may submit up to three (3) entries. The exhibit is free and open to the public. Call For Artists to Exhibit Art drop off is Thursday, November 6 from 8 am to 7 pm, at the Sandy Senior Center, 9310 South 1300 East. Entry fee for the first piece is $20.00; second and third entries are $15.00 each. Artists utilizing online registration will receive a $5.00 discount on the first entry. Online registration will end on Wednesday, November 5 at 12:00 pm. Peoples Choice Awards voting takes place each day through Tuesday, November 18.
