Sandy has mixed feelings about Sandpiper Association President - TopicsExpress

Sandy has mixed feelings about Sandpiper Association President Cheryl Smith running for Reeve of the RM of St. Laurent. While Sandy knows that Cheryls talents, for getting things done, would be great for the RM, Sandy also realizes that Sandpiper Association, as well as the Association of Lake Manitoba Stakeholders (ALMS), would lose Cheryl as their President, because shed have to resign from those Associations, to focus her time on RM of St. Laurent business. Sandy recalls all that Cheryl accomplished for those Associations, with the help and support of great people like the Fredericks, the Colpitts, the Hooks, the Hoares, the Brittons, Messrs. King, Heise, Forbes, Zacharias, Allard, Greenlay, and Clarkson, the Joness, the Buchanans, the Beaudin clan, the fabulous Sandpiper kiteboarders, the family Bruce, Lambert, the Flemings, and the Schons. Lobbying for lower lake levels, paving Allard and Sandpiper Roads, obtaining Green Team funding for summer students, and obtaining the entry road signs (shown below), are just some examples of what Cheryl and these wonderful friends and neighbours have accomplished. And if Cheryl, ALMS and Sandpiper Association have accomplished all of these things, just think what Cheryl, as Reeve and her Council, could accomplish. Cheryl gets things done, with the help of a lot of great people, because she works so well with everyone.
