Santula(boiled vegetables).... its an authentic odia healthy recipe or you can call this as vegetable soup in a very different way.... as i took parwal plantain drumsticks teaselgourd eggplant n a very small piece of red pumpkin n a small size tomato.... i cut them into long sizes and boiled them with salt pinch of haldi powder along with tomato...... after it is perfectly boiled heat a wok with 1\2 teaspoon refined oil or pure ghee(here i have added ghee becz today is my fasting day n the i love the aroma of ghee) add 1teaspoon panch phutan(mixture of whole cumin,whole mustard seeds,fennel seeds fenugreek seeds n nigela) and red chilly.... when it starts to splutter add this boiled veggie n immidiately switch off the gas and cover it so that the aroma of chhonk will remain inside...... if you wish you can add chopped cilantro or while tempering panch phutan you can add flakes of garlic so the flavour of garlic will spread over....... you can have this with roti or rice or paratha.....
