Sat. 29/6/2013 Diligence Brings Honor Prov. 22:29 It pays to be diligent. It is rewarding to be active and creative in whatever one is doing. Hard work pays. If a man is diligent, dutiful, industrious in whatever he or she is doing, making consistent and persistent efforts at improving himself or herself in the job he or she is doing, it is certain that in no-distant time, the reward will be coming in. First, by virtue of his diligence, people that see and observe him will be impressed to patronize him. They will also recommend him to other people. In the process, before they know what is happening, they are already connected with “who-is-who” in the society. They become important and their connections to important people brings honor to them. Point of Emphasis: Diligent workers, always receive commendation and awards. Prayer Point: Lord, make me diligent in my job and give me honor as a result. AMEN IN JESUS NAME
