(Saturday) FREE VETERANS LEGAL FORUM There will be a free legal forum at the Bastrop County Courthouse Annex, 2nd floor, on Saturday, Feb. 1 (8:30 a.m. to noon) to U.S. veterans and their families by the Bastrop Bar Association. Attorney volunteers will provide legal information and referrals in the areas of veteran disability claims, family law, divorce, child support, wills, estate planning, probate, guardianship, consumer law, contracts, Social Security, landlord/tenant and bankruptcy. Please bring any paperwork that might help for the type of assistance you may require. No appointment is necessary.
