Saturday September 28th : September Medal (Walter Whitlie Medal). Another excellent show from Andrew Mannion, net 64, secured the medal. Mike Crabbe continued his recent good from with a 65, and Nigel Munro finished third on 68. Saturday October 5th : No play today due to the Gibson Ladies competition. Saturday October 12th : October Medal and Harry Pheonix Seniors. Tee times from 11.40. A two-in-one, but you have to be 55 or over to qualify for the seniors’ trophy. Everyone plays for the weekly sweep as usual. Saturday October 19th : Harvieston Badge. Tee times from 11.40. The Harvieston Badge is contested by all winners and runners up of monthly medals throughout the year (since the dinner last November). Everyone else plays for the weekly sweep as usual. Sunday October 20th : BHA Texas Scramble. Ten teams will take part, each consisting of a member of each of the four Braids clubs. Tee times are from 9.27. If you would like to play, sign up on the noticeboard. Saturday October 26th : Melrose Cup and Last Chance Trophy. Tee times from 11.40. The Melrose Cup is contested by all individual club competition winners throughout the year (since the dinner last November), including medals. The Last Chance Trophy for perennial losers provides one more opportunity to get on the prize list at the dinner.
