Saturday Weather Update: Into the holiday weekend and the unsettled weather continues. After some lingering showers exit this morning, we will see a brief break with a few peeks of sun before additional showers and thunderstorms develop this afternoon. Clouds are expected to keep the severe threat rather low, but some models indicate storms forming into a line or cluster, so some gusty winds are possible, but locally heavy rainfall appears to be the main threat. Much less coverage of storms is expected on Sunday with a bit more sunshine, before more widespread showers and storms arrive on Labor Day. So not a complete wash-out of a weekend, but keep an eye to the sky and have a plan B for outdoor activities should a storm near and when thunder roars, go indoors. More details: wp.me/p2F7JX-Xf
