Saturday......hung around Massada for the morning while Maya and OMG hugged, fought, screamed at each other; then around 10:30 we went to Galita for a "chocolate experience"; they put before these 2 chocolate addicted minions, a bowl of melted Belgian white chocolate, a bowl of Belgian milk chocolate plus several small bowls of sprinkles, gummy bears, pretzels, and mini marshmallows. The mission was to fill the molds given with all the crap on the table...... the 2 cousins slurped, devoured and slathered the chocolate, only at the last minute we reminded them that they needed to make chocolate candies. They both mumbled something while gorging themselves on the evil sweet! Jason and I helped them create while they both were shoving the last of the gummy bears in their gobs! With the bowls empty, and the unfortunate chocolates whisked away to the fridge in order to harden before Maya and OMG take them home. Chocolate was all over them; up their noses, down their shirts and probably reached their ether parts. Dana and Jason washed them up and then it was time for a short film on the process of refining chocolate from Africa until it reaches here in Galita. Cool, lovely little theater with kids and their partners finding seats...interesting documentary. Maya (still twirling around from the chocolate high) steps in front of the screen and begins boogying. OK, time to grab the cooled chocolate and return home for a snooze. Jason helped me with some household chores; we smoozed around for awhile while the kids drew, screamed, kicked Beni and (just exaggerating!) and noshed on fresh mango. Time to say goodbye....as I hug Jason goodbye, tears well up; so happy that my son and grandson were here.
