Saturday the 8th --looking out my window at the ocean., waiting for BLT to come for breakfast. the Del is incredible, but truth be told the rooms in the main building are a little one the tired side, but no matter. Kansas City BBQ (Top Gun fame) is wonderful. 60 authors there last night for dinner. Great to see so many long-time friends, particularly Iris Johansen, weve been friends since the arc. Today is panel and signing aboard USS Midway Everyone go outside, look around you at the trees, the sky, your Porsche, your dog bouncing at your feet, leash in his mouth --and be grateful --
