Save the Children is the world’s leading, independent organisation for children Job Opening Save the Children invites applications for the following position Senior Officer - Training & Community Mobilization (01 position based in Meherpur) Responsibilities: The position is mainly responsible for implementation the Shishuder Jonno program area community mobilization, training, workshops, seminar, focus group discussion and community core groups’ capacity building; ensure need-based mentoring and coaching to field-based staff both in SCI and PNGO. S/he will also be responsible for ensuring the delivery of community mobilization activities as per SC guideline of common approach for sponsorship programming. S/he will maintain relationships with all key groups and other stake holders at upazila and union level. Requirements: Master Degree in Development Studies / Social Science/ Communications or relevant degree from a recognized university. At least 4 years of working experience at community level in Community Mobilization/ Social Mobilization organizing and developing networks, coalitions and forums with Government departments, NGOs and community stakeholders, documentation and report writing. The ideal candidate should have excellent writing and interpersonal communication skills both in English & Bangla and skill on the application of MS Office.
