Save the Last Lap Campaign – Duck Event Update: Thanks to all the incredible media attention and member support we’ve received for our Save the Last Lap Campaign we have raised $8,000 through duck sales this summer. Conducting the campaign during the summer months prevented a number of our members and interested major sponsors from getting involved in the campaign. So, in an effort to continue building on our success so far, we are rescheduling our Duck Event (originally scheduled for September 20th) to May 16th, the weekend before we officially close the pool. Ducks and towels can still be purchased at the YMCA Member Service Desk, Orange County Trust Company’s Dolson Avenue branch in Middletown, First Federal Savings of Middletown, Something Sweet on North Street in Middletown, or on-line through our web site. Thank you for your support. We look forward to seeing everyone on May 16th.
