Save the date - KCHP Public Meeting Tues, 9/30 - For the past year, Kitsap community organizations and leaders have been engaged in a Community Health Improvement Process (KCHP). The purpose of KCHP is to (step 1) review the overall health and well-being of our community, including issues such as quality of life, healthy behaviors, social & economic factors, physical environment, and medical care and (step 2) prioritize the areas where our community needs the most improvement. We invite you to help us with step 2. At the upcoming public meeting, you will learn what priorities for improving our community’s health have been identified and asked to help rank those priorities. The results of this process will be used by local governmental and nonprofit organizations to prioritize their work and inform grantmaking decisions. Please join us and help determine what will make us an even healthier Kitsap County. The meeting will be from 1-4 p.m. at the Norm Dicks Government Center in Bremerton (345 6th Street).
