Saw Larry the Cable Guy last Wednesday. While not entirely my type of humor, it was great to have a good laugh and a reminder not to take life too serious. He has had tremendous success yet is one of the most down to earth celebrity I’ve seen in years; actually making time to talk with the crowd one-on-one after the show. He also included small reminders in his show about important things like “if you drive drunk, you’re a moron” yet mastered it so you don’t feel like you’re being lectured.
