So Ive seen a few of the cold water challenges here on FB and it occurred to me that something like that could work for another cause that hits close to home for many of us in the archery community. Ive decided that if my friends out there will pledge $1,000 to help the families affected by the massive land slide near Darrington WA, I will jump into the balmy 55 degree water of the Willamette river! I have already spoken with fellow NW pro and Darrington native Shawnn Vincent and he assured me that he can help make sure the funds go to help the community directly, and not go to some general fund somewhere. There is also a rumor out that some local members of the SpotHogg family might join me if we raise the money by this afternoon;)! Thanks in advance for all your generosity!
