Say Animals Treated Better Than Humans Shabeer Ahmad Srinagar, Aug 6: The residents of Eidgah constituency have constituted a civil body, the Peoples Action Forum and resolved that the government was providing civic amenities to civilians “ worse than what animals enjoy.” The residents said while the Achan landfill site stench has engulfed the entire old City, civic amenities in Eidgah constituency were in a mess, awaiting upgradation for years. They also alleged that the ration depots and cooking gas distribution was messy. The People Action Forum, as per its members, was constituted by residents of around 40 Mohallas of the constituency and that the meeting in this regard was held at Lattar Masjid, Safa Kadal. The members of the forum, as per a handout, include Muhammad Ashraf Matta and Bashir Ahmed Misger of Safa Kadal. Abdul Gaffar Chiloo, Abdul Rashid Shah, Sheikh Khalid Mubarak, Showkat Ahmed Shah, Haji Bashir Ahmed and Abdul Majeed Chaloo of Latter Masjid, Bilal Ahmed Alai of Seki Daffar, Ali Muhammad Najar, Gulzar Ahmed Mir and Nazir Ahmed Bagav of Haft Yaarbal. Besides, from Kant Paristan, the forum is represented by Ali Muhammad Bhat, Zahoor Ahmed Naqshbandi and Tariq Ahmed Alai. The other members include Haji Ghulam Muhammad Kar, Muhammad Amin Shah of Zadi Masjid, Ghulam Muhammad Shah of Paul Yarbal, Muhammad Sadiq Bhat, Gulzar Ahmad Beigh, Abdul Rashid, Muhammad Ayoub Pampori of Chari Nambal, Muhammad Yaseen Wani, Ghulam Nabi Sheikh, Ghulam Jeelani of Rathpora, Lateef Ahmad of Laygardora, Abdul Ghaffar Chaloo of Masjid Abu Bakr( RA) Ali Jan Road, Bashir Ahmad Dar, Abdul Majid Malik of Jamia Saidapora, Bashir Ahmad Bhat of Pahalwan Khan Saida Pora, Mohalla Shah- e- Hamdan Ali Jan Road, Farooq Ahmad Najar of Hamzah Colony Eidgah and Haji Bashir Ahmad of Gasi Mohalla.
