Scary mom moment here!!! 😩😭 I just got done giving Seairra some of these in a baggy for a little snack because thats what she wanted to eat... Well, then I went to go pee and asked Seairra to turn out sissys light because she went in there and turned it on, she was very quick to come back to me (also with sissys bottle) shortly after I heard little El making noise in her room and most of the time that she is in there laying down talking to herself she will make herself grunt and push out all sorts of interesting noises, well I heard a weird cough noise and even thought to myself there she goes again ☺️ but then it was followed by another noise and this time by the sounds of it even across the house I could tell that was not normal! But I knew that she wasnt choking on her bottle because Seairra brought it to me- I ran in there to find her choking on one of these!!!! Teaching your two year old to share is a great thing until she tries sharing something like this with her baby sister! 😭 I was a wreck, quickly undid her swing and got her out and managed to get everything to clear quickly from her throat, all while Seairra stood by crying sissy! because she could tell something wasnt right. Ellie had blood on her arm and her shirt and as you can see theres a good amount of blood in the cereal I got out of her mouth (thats only part of it). Ellie is fine, she hasnt even cried at all after I got her. But she coughs and I am wondering if there could be any damage in her throat?! And if anyone has any remedies to help sooth it? This cereal is hard! It does not dissolve quickly and is NOT meant for babies.... Obviously. Im just a bit shook up and thankful I was able to get there in time and help her. If anyone has something negative to say, do not do it. Accidents happen and if anyone has the nerve to say I have to watch them better you obviously dont know how easily something like this could happen. Seairra is a very awesome big sister and this is the first time anything like this has ever happened. So if you have any words or positive advice or ideas to help sooth a throat for babies- I am all ears.
