Scattered thunderstorms will be possible across parts of northern Oklahoma through tonight. No organized severe weather is expected, but a few strong storms with gusty winds, frequent lightning and heavy rainfall are possible. Storm chances will spread south towards the middle of the week and continue through the weekend as a cold front moves into the region. The best chance for storms will be late Wednesday into Thursday. A few severe storms will be possible across northern Oklahoma Wednesday night. Heavy rainfall that could lead to localized flooding will also be possible. Hot conditions will continue Wednesday into Thursday across portions of Oklahoma. A heat advisory is in effect for portions of central and southern Oklahoma through Wednesday evening.
