Scholarships for mixed race students!!!!!!!!!!! I have a friend who is biracial email me to share some cool news. He shared with me that more scholarships are structured specifically for bi-and multi-racial students. Also, he shared with me that more colleges and universities have a "mixed race" box on their applications. All I have to say is, it is about FRIGGIN time!!!!!!!!! Years ago when I earned a social work degree from Buffalo State..I was SHOCKED to see "mixed heritage" as one of the options. I cannot begin to tell you how happy I was to see (back then in 1999) that we were being recognized!!!! If anyone has important scholarships or information to support bi-racial and multi-racial issues...please POST on this awesome PAGE!!!!!!!!!!
