Scott County Republicans would like to invite everyone attending the Mississippi Valley Fair to stop by and meet candidates for election in 2014. Davenport – During the week of the Fair, many candidates, both local and statewide, will be visiting Davenport to meet voters. All of the candidates are excited to share their visions of how they can help Iowans succeed in the future. Tuesday July 29th – Dr. Mariannette Miller-Meeks, candidate for 2nd Congressional District and her Campaign Manager Matt Sauvage from 4pm-6pm Wednesday July 30th – State Senator Roby Smith from 11am-12pm Friday August 1st – Iowa State Auditor Mary Mosiman from 11am-12pmSunday August 3rd - Supervisor Bill Cusack from 11am-1pm., County Supervisor Carol Ernhardt and State Rep. Linda Miller from 3pm-5pm We hope to see a lot of smiling faces and provide and opportunity for voters to ask questions that will help them make informed voting decisions in November. Please feel free to stop by to talk with any of our volunteers that will be at the booth in the expo center from 11am to 9pm each day, and please take a moment to say hi to all the candidates as they make their way through Davenport.
