#SeFaMaCoLaunch On January 21 and 22nd this month, Farm Concern International in partnership with research & development partners, with support from Bill and Melinda Gates foundation, will be officially launching a new programme, SeFaMaCo, a four year programme which integrates Value Chain Development and Smallholder Farmer commercialization of Banana and Orange Sweet Potato for Tanzania, Uganda & Ethiopia. The program is based on Seed -Farmer- Market & Consumer Model and its goal is to Optimize profitability and productivity by catalyzing market oriented value chain- wide competitiveness and investments in bananas & sweet potatoes for increased household incomes The launch will be held in Moshi and Arusha towns of Tanzania and different stakeholders including the Tanzanian government will be in attendance.
