Sea trout fishing around Tromøya, Arendal YR promised us a storm - but did not deliver as promised ;( Everybody expected a storm and wanted to wait it out and see. If the wind was calm - they would go out fishing. If not.. They would stay at home. But, luckily for me, Øyvind Elefsen do not think like others. He is more like me. If our better parts let us fish - we don´t care about the weather! And by the way - we love rough weather because the sea trouts do. When we started our day at 09:00 - the sea was fishable at all corners, fjords and bays. And since I was driving, we went out to Tromøya - searching for BIG trouts in clear and oxygenic waters. We didn´t count the fishes to hard, since the fishes was mainly small - we think that we caught 4 or 5 fishes today. We started the day with two 600g fishes in the morning. Nice start! Anyway - the funniest fish today was the sea trout that came after my lure. It was very aggressive, and I wanted to film a take with Øyvind - so I gave him the chance to take it. We smeared his CDC shrimp in with Kvalvik bait and started filming. 1,2 and 3! Everything went as planned. The fish attacked the fly - and all was recorded. The movie is planned to be used exclusively in my sea trout seminars, and will not be published on internet. (sorry guys..) Enjoy the photos, and keep on fishing!
