Sean Hannity and Governor Rick Perry of Texas flew a slow helicopter along the border with Mexico recently and this footage and commentary were shown last night on Seans show. See the high points of it here attached. The Governor indicated how easy it is really to defend and protect the border entirely from any incursions with three pieces in places: a.) Border patrol agents back up to the force levels of the Bush administration (which the bamster hastily and greatly reduced), and positioned AT the border, not 40 miles away from it; b.) predator drones -- which were used with great success for border interdiction in Iraq (another very similar war-type zone), c.) strategic, high-wired fencing -- too tall and dangerous for anyone to get over (stronger and more dangerous than ordinary max-security prison fencing); Texas already has a great deal of this (seen from air); more is needed.
