Search Underway for Person of Interest in Robbery Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office Detectives are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a person of interest who was involved in a personal robbery which occurred on July 3, 2014, in the Cedar Creek Road area of Cumberland County. The victim of the common-law robbery had contacted a female on July 3, 2014, who arranged for transportation for him to Fayetteville. Acquaintances of the female picked the victim up and drove him to Fayetteville. After arriving in the Fayetteville area and during the trip the victim was assaulted and robbed of money which he had on him. The unidentified subject in security camera photographs was last seen riding in a sport utility vehicle pewter or gold in color. The vehicle is believed to possibly be an older model Chevrolet Suburban. Anyone with any information that could assist detectives in identifying and locating this individual is urged to call the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office at (910) 323-1500. Do not approach the driver of the vehicle because he is believed to be armed and dangerous.
