Secr. John Kerrys press conference remarks after his Paris meeting with the rusky foreign minister today included two interesting double standards. On Lebanons Syrian refugee problem - (paraphrased) It creates an extraordinary impact on the internal dynamics of the country - it has more people looking for work, it drives wages down and changes the nature of the country. Kerry says the USA will support $$ the Lebanese Armed Forces and other security institutions. Now isnt that the exact opposite of how his boss treats our own refugee problem on the southern border? He doesnt give a rats ass about wages, changes and security down there! We need armed forces to secure our southern border and he talks about downsizing. On Ukraine - the Ukes told him how desperately they want a govt that has the consent of the people and an economy that gives them the chance to live like everyone else. We have the same situation here in the USA. We elected a leader who does what he wants and not what the majority of people want. Yet Kerry & BO support a people that want to illegally replace their duly elected leader. Two examples of obvious double standards.
