Section Head – PPC, Dispatch & Stores Job Title Section Head – PPC, Dispatch & Stores Dispatch In-Charge Stores Head Location/Plant Ludhiana No. of Reportees (Direct & Indirect) 3 Job Objective Develop production schedule for manufacturing departments in conjunction with production team to meet customer demand. Responsible for Inventory management to ensure delivery of finished goods at right time at right cost to the customer/ dealer Primary Responsibilities Financial ¢ Support Plant Head in formulation of Budget by providing inputs from respective section ¢ Analyze and control all significant variances of capital and cost parameters and take corrective actions Customer ¢ Coordinate with customer on a daily basis to understand daily demand and resolve any customer complaints ¢ Conduct appropriate production planning and inventory management to ensure on time delivery to customers ¢ Evaluate and recommend actions to improve on time delivery performance to the Customer ¢ Respond to Customer queries in appropriate manner Process ¢ Manage production planning and scheduling of material flow to meet production schedules and customer requirements ¢ Analyze demand requirements to identify production and supply bottlenecks and recommend actions for resolution ¢ Coordinate with purchase department and vendors to update requirements for purchased goods and materials ¢ Coordination with the customer, analyze requirement and prepare weekly and the monthly plan for dispatch of materials ¢ Coordination with concerned departments so that material is available in the FG store as per the customer requirement ¢ To ensure that the crates are available as per the requirement and arrange the same in case of non availability of crates ¢ To ensure the materials are packed as per the defined packaging standard ¢ To ensure that the truck is readily available and deployed at the loading bay for timely loading of materials as per the customer requirement ¢ Follow-up for the truck for finding out their current location and to ensure that material reaches customer at the earliest ¢ Follow up with customer regarding the delivery of material at customer/ dealer end ¢ Lead implementation of key process improvement initiatives to be taken-up (such as ISO, TPM, TQM etc) from time to time in the section ¢ Take overall responsibility to ensure adherence to Safety standards by all employees and establish zero accident practice in the section ¢ Implement various business excellence techniques like Kaizen, 5S initiatives, etc Learning & Development ¢ Provide guidance, counseling and feedback to subordinates on their performance to ensure a motivated and committed team ¢ Nominate subordinates actively for the people development initiatives like trainings, workshops across the organization etc. ¢ Oversee employee relations to ensure harmonious labor relations in the section Key Result Areas (KRAs) & Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Category KRA KPI Financial Cost Optimization % Adherence to Budget % reduction in inventory carrying cost % decrease in operational and overhead costs Process Operational Efficiency Target Vs Actual vendor rating received from customer % deviation of approved stock levels Environment, Health and Safety % adherence to statutory / regulatory compliance Number of Major/ Minor accidents Customer Customer Satisfaction Number of customer complaints reported Number of delivery failures based on schedule (Time / Quantity) Learning & Development Performance Management Adherence to timelines of PMS process Number of man days of training Training & Development % of employees covered % improvement in Annual Employee Engagement Score (Survey framework same as conducted by EY) Employee Engagement Desired Qualifications, Experience & Competencies Desired Qualifications PG/Diploma in Material Management Desired Experience 7~10 years of experience in similar role Knowledge & Skills Knowledge about the product & process Strong analytical skills Commercial knowledge Awareness of Inventory Management and Statistics Knowledge about quality systems, six sigma, kaizen, etc Life Solutions Co. 4th Floor, Mall Plaza, Mall Road, Fountain Chowk, Ludhiana Contact us at : 01612433834, 9653633519, 9417085834,0161-4646023 send resume on : [email protected]
