Seems as though most career politicians seem to meld their ideas - TopicsExpress

Seems as though most career politicians seem to meld their ideas to fit someone elses ideas. They try to campaign to those ideas, even though they may not believe in them. Those ideas are often categorized as liberal, or conservative, or moderate, etc. Of course, these categories are usually found within both the Democrat and Republican parties. On this day after elections, Im reflecting on what won, what lost, the supporters of both sides, the candidates, etc. Now it seems the pundits are saying, where are the conservatives?, what about the liberals?, and things that seem to point out how the candidates drifted to those that they felt would support them. Well, I have a thought - Why not be yourself??? Why not speak loudly and clearly on the issues YOU believe in. Why not proclaim what you feel is right, the ideas you have, and the ways YOU want to accomplish those ideas? In my opinion, stand up, be yourself and be a LEADER! DONT FOLLOW!!! A leader leads, and those that agree will follow and support them. It always seems that when we try to place ourselves in a category we often have the support of that category but no support from anyone else. Come on candidates and proponents of measures.... LEAD!!! After all,, that is who the citizens will ultimately elect.... their leaders.
