Seen this and had to share it. While most cases of premature birth cannot be prevented there are still many that CAN. Far to many people, including some doctors, have the no big deal attitude about babies being born early. Scheduled c-sections are happening earlier and earlier - sometimes for reasons as stupid as the doctor going on vacation and the patient wanting only that doctor to deliver or sometimes because the mom is just uncomfortable. Well it IS a big deal and if this doesnt convince you then nothing will. Each day a baby is left in utero is precious, miraculous things happen each and every day for that baby to be ready to enter this world as safely and healthy as possible. Their little lungs are one of the most important things that need to be developed, if not it can lead to a lifetime of health problems for the child, or even death.
