Senator Claire Moore and myself have called on Minister Morrison to end the chaos surrounding community grants for charities. Housing and Homelessness organisations, along with disability peaks and advocacy bodies and Financial Counselling providers have all been told their funding will be cut. Many organisations have missed out and vulnerable Australians will suffer. Confusion continues for those organisations who have got funding because they are being kept in the dark on how much funding they will get until mid-January 2015.
