Separated at Birth- Unless you have personally dealt with a loss of a child, it would be most difficult to understand the pain. One thing Ive learned is that in every pain there is revelation and in every revelation there is a release of unexplained peace. Ill never forget the day I had to say goodbye to my precious twins, Miles and Austin who were born premature. It took all the power and strength in me to hold on to them for as long as I could. I could remember calling out to Jesus with all my might and still, it wasnt in Gods plan for them to stay. While grieving my precious boys, I found myself resentful towards God. I couldnt understand why He would allow such tragedy in my life, they were the miracles Ive waited for. As I held them for the first and last time, this is what the Lord spoke to me; While you were fighting for your sons, I freely gave mine so you would have life. I still felt the pain of the loss but in revelation there was such a release of unexplained peace. If youre experiencing loss of any kind, ask God to give you peace that surpass all understanding and remember that he know what its like to give up something that is so irreplaceable. But in the end, does it really make a difference what anyone does? I’ve had a good look at what God has given us to do—busywork, mostly. True, God made everything beautiful in itself and in its time—but he’s left us in the dark, so we can never know what God is up to, whether he’s coming or going. I’ve decided that there’s nothing better to do than go ahead and have a good time and get the most we can out of life. That’s it—eat, drink, and make the most of your job. It’s God’s gift. I’ve also concluded that whatever God does, that’s the way it’s going to be, always. No addition, no subtraction. God’s done it and that’s it. That’s so we’ll quit asking questions and simply worship in holy fear. Whatever was, is. Whatever will be, is. ~Ecclesiastes 3:9-15 Meditate on Good Things #meditateongoodthings© 2013- Planting Seeds of Hope Ministries, Inc. ALL RIGHTS RESERVED.
